Loudoun 93 Red, a rising U-16 boys team for 2009-2010 season,  is pleased to announce that the team will be coached and trained next year by Alex Teixeira, Program Developer and Director of Training for Brazilian Touch Soccer.  Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Alex was a member of Flamengo CF, one of the biggest club teams in Brazil, representing Brazil at the international level.  He also played professionally for a J-league team in Japan. Alex was co-captain and competed for George Mason University from 1998-2000, graduating with a BA in Advertising. Alex currently coaches Loudoun 92 Red in NCSL Division 1 and is Assistant Coach for the Olympic Development Program for the Virginia Northern District and State Level Program, helping to identify the best players in Northern Virginia.
